The Hotel was built in 1910 to serve the travelers, ranchers, and early railroad business clientele. Intervening years were not always kind. The current owners purchased the building in 2005 with the idea of bringing the building back to its original glory: a comfortable, cozy hotel to not only serve the needs of the traveling public but worthy of being a destination in and of itself. This goal was reached when Historic Hotel Prairie opened its doors to begin a new chapter on July 24, 2008. For more information on Historic Hotel Prairie click here.
In your down time, we have a wine and beer bar, an inviting lobby, a garden area with seating, big screen TV and secure wi-fi all on Hotel property. Or, explore the town’s eateries, shops and museums. Come and explore!!
